Experiência e espírito de época na cena e no circuito rock de Belém do Pará entre 1982 e 1993(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2013-08-14) OLIVEIRA, Enderson Geraldo de Souza; COSTA, Antonio Maurício Dias da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2563255308649361; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-0223-9264In this work I seek to discuss and understand if the current reports of individual and collective experiences, especially by musicians, producers and consumers of rock in Belém, communicate some sort of relation between a chronological period (going from 1982 to 1993) of the musical scene (Straw, 1991) and circuit (see Magnani) and a possible “spirit of the age” (Zeitgeist). Aiming to demonstrate those relationships, I observed and sought to establish a dialogue between the memory of the individuals, who experienced that period, and their specific transits through the city as well as the ownership and attribution of meaning to the spaces and experiences. Going beyond, the spirit of the time is not be “trapped” chronologically, but can (could) also currently be evoked through places that individualize speech and make the eighties a retrospectively peculiar period. Mindful of this, I know that this work also constitutes an element that cooperates and is inserted in such constructions, more than language, related to experiences of subjects. This work deals with communication, with Comprehensive Sociology, History and Philosophy in a pretty close way, without forgetting Anthropology, of course. Thus, the main thing for me in the development of this research was precisely observing the relationship of persons, its time, society and even temporality. It is not intended to present the history or even the genesis of rock in Belém, nor scrutinize it, but to discuss the interrelationships between a socio-historical education and the memorialistic content concerning a time in which the rock music scene and circuit gained momentum.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Modernidade reflexiva: Giddens, Beck e as limitações da segunda modernidade(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009) COSTA, Jonas Fernandes; BRITO, Daniel Chaves de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/4547584911539063This objective works to display the theory of reflexive modernity produced a more precise by Ulrich Beck and Anthony Giddens, trying to understand the contours of this proposal and its possible limits. This happens in a replica of what takes place at the Bragança feast , celebrating what would be interpreted as “bragantinidade” or the symbolic elements selected to represent the belongings of the natives of Bragança city, with particular manner of making them, expressed in this “condition” of Bragantin. It is expected to go around the feast, which involves the elements that mark this celebrated identity.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Reestruturação produtiva e flexibilização do trabalho: um estudo sobre os processos de subcontratações e relações de trabalho na ALUNORTE S/A(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2006) SAMPAIO, Isadora Castelo Branco; PALHANO, Eleanor Gomes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2097579030181428This dissertation is about job market transformations in the beginning of XXI Century. To analyze the transformations a theoric study about sub contractions and working conditions was made substantiated in the productive reorganization occurred in ALUNORTE S/A, a chemistry industry located at Barcarena City , Para , Brazil. The study is focused on the productive process reorganization and jobs redistribution based in this reorganization, all this considering the transition of a Taylor/Ford model to a Flexible Work/Production model. The caracteristic of this model is the flexibility in jobs associations and the rationalization of the productive process, this two factors conducts to the use of “flexible technology” that is a management process to improve the exploitation of the work force and the sub contractions . The empirical analysis expose the critical working conditions and the submission of the outsourcing employees in a visible condition face to the company, changing theirs status to a peripheric workers. This process to contract and allocation of work force became excluding for local working force since that the process didn’t absorb to personnel staff of ALUNORTE S/A the working force of Barcarena City (in most of cases), this action didn’t contribute to regional socioeconomic Development resulting in a increase of the segmentation of job market.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nas trincheiras do enfrentamento: um estudo de caso: percepções e práticas docente voltadas para a criança vítima de violência doméstica(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2009) LIMA, Yara Yonara da Silva; MENDONÇA, Kátia Marly Leite; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5325063796266136This study brings up the topic of domestic violence against children, concerns the discursive practices that teachers face the abused child, seeking to uncover the limits and possibilities of addressing the domestic abuse of children in school. For both, we performed a case study of practices and experiences of a group of teachers of early childhood education in a school building in public schools in Belem, which was developed through semi-structured interviews in the period between March and June 2009.Portant, categories such as: childhood, history of abuse, responsibility, recognition, ethics, among many others, served as the basis this study, theoretical and characteristically empiric. Tend hermeneutics as wire-methodological framework inspired by the hermeneutic principles of human action from Paul Ricouer. As analysis of teacher narratives indicate that in certain contexts and circumstances liability abused children lose their sense intensely practical legal and ethical responsibilities only a sidewalk on the positive recognition of children, has held a teaching activity to face illtreatment , we intend that this signal is essential to building a culture of respect and human dignity of children.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Entre o trabalho na roça e a venda na beira: um estudo da dinâmica no modo de vida das famílias de Caraparu-Pará(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) NOBRE, Mariléia da Silveira; FURTADO, Lourdes Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1828475659148260This dissertation intends to do a reflection over the dynamic of the way traditional agriculture families from Caraparu live. This village belongs to Santa Izabel do Pará city. The main purpose is to understand how that dynamic promote a commerce parallels to a traditional economy constituted through a family basis, that is familiar agriculture which those families call work in arable land . That way, to accomplish an ethnographic study of both economic activities coexistent in that area, is essential to apprehend the causal effects of such change in local living. I must explicit that is not my intention to understand those effects through isolated events such as the mythic beliefs and the Caraparu Taper. My goal is to observe and analyze those families way of living in order to understand how the social dynamic can make them reorganize and create new economic arrangements with the introduction of a new activity as a commerce generated with a tourism in that region. This commerce is called border selling by the natives of Caraparu. That way, is important to understand that process as a causal factor which comes to the center of any social group with a local dynamic.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Trabalho e capital na Amazônia Oriental: movimento operário versus reestruturação produtiva no Complexo Albrás-Alunorte: 1990 – 2005(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-03) SANTIAGO, João Carlos da Silva; PALHANO, Eleanor Gomes da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2097579030181428The present dissertation studies the productive restructuration in the factories of ALBRAS and ALUNORTE, situated in the municipal district of Barcarena/PA, and how the working class movement has put itself against this process, from 1990 to 2005. Through a study of the chronic crisis of the worldwide capitalist economy, worsened by the two petroleum crash, it attempts to explain how the installation of two modern factories in the Oriental Amazon, with a working class contingent highly concentrated. It is emphasized how important is the role of the State to the achievement of this process. We also analyze how, since the “globalization” phenomenon – which is a higher stage of the imperialism -, and the new work organization process – mainly the toyotist model -, the working class movement and its organizations were put to the proof because of the flexibilization of the work, the precarization and the subcontraction, which have made difficult the strikes and the class movements in Brazil and in the world, in the 1990s. Based in bibliographic material, brochures and interviews with workers and directors of labor unions, the study evidences that the struggles against the productive restructuration in ALBRAS was more intense, including the strike mode, than in ALUNORTE, because ALBRAS was ten years ahead of ALUNORTE and it was the first laboratory of CVRD in the city of Barcarena. Contradictorily, it was in ALBRAS where occurred the highest number of dismissals in the studied period, before and after the privatization of CVRD. The dissertation aims to show the role of the Chemists and Metallurgists Labor Union in this process of struggles against the productive restructuration in the factories of ALBRAS and ALUNORTE.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sapurahái de Karuára: mitos, instrumentos musicais e canto entre os Suruí Aikewára(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007-09-24) SILVA, Gilmar Matta da; MASTOP-LIMA, Luiza de Nazaré; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1067737666679586; BELTRÃO, Jane Felipe; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6647582671406048The traditional knowledge are connected through processes of learning based on the interaction between the human groups and the environment, involving experimentation, speculation and experience of its members that systemize a set of practical conceptions and in relation of intergenerational. The contributions of the disciplines like sociology, psychodynamic of work and the anthropology of health are together in this study to approach us to the desired interdisciplinary conception. This research is associated to the field of the Health of the Workers, paradigmatic orientation that is the support of the concepts and analysis present in this work, and we emphasize the structuring role that work takes on the artisanal fisher’s workers lives, as well in the formation of their values, conceptions and in the way they build and deal with their own health, without neglecting the social and subjective dimensions present in the dynamics of the process healthdisease in their relation to the work. As says Minayo (2004a), the qualitative research in health approach, our methodological reference to the development of this study, emphasizes the speech of the subjects, their conceptions of health and disease and with this objective we made semi-structured interviews with the fishermen in each city visited ,that voluntarily agreed to participate in this study. For a deeper approach to the disease processes and their possible relation with the working activity developed by these fishermen studied, we also utilized the instrument of observation, following the fishermen during their activity in the river. The material obtained in the research includes 23 interviews with fishermen of six municipal districts in state of Pará: Abaetetuba, Igarapé-Miri, Mocajuba, Bragança, Salinópolis e São Caetano de Odivelas. In all these municipal districts the artisanal fishing takes a very important place in the local economy and join a large contingent of workers, allowing us to observe different realities of business in Pará, state which has a diversity of aquatic ecosystems, showing environments of continental waters, estuarine and from the sea, in which fishing is developed with many adaptations and particularities. We choose as the analytical conception of our work the hermeneutic dialectics, as Minayo defends (2004a, p. 227), a “way of thinking” from which we seek to understand the speech as a result of the social process (work and domination), for where the amplified regard, investigative about the sceneries of life and work is essential. We search to establish “the field of fundamental determinations” which is the social and historical context of these workers, emphasizing, among many aspects, the importance of the artisanal fishermen and their insertion in the production system; their reproduction’s conditions (work, income, housing, access to goods and services etc); access to social security politics, emphasizing the understanding that considers health and disease concepts historically constructed, strongly permeated by the historical and social conditions from the individuals and particularly marked in their relationship with their work.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) "Chacina do Paar": as dimensões do poder no universo policial(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) ROCHA, Marilene Sousa Pantoja da; ANTONAZ, Diana; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7547028254641362In this dissertation a concrete event occurred in 1995 at a Police Office is analyzed. However these groups making an effort to recreate their Mundurukú identity through Mundurukú language teaching in their Indians schools. This study was coming true during the Socials Science Master Program course of Universidade Federal do Pará, in Anthropology subject, from March 2006 to March 2008. The research was divided in two stages. The fist one consisted in researches in libraries, bookshops and internet about specific Anthropology texts. The second stage was fieldwork in Itaituba’s Indian communities. Two months were taking during the University breaking periods. However I stayed more four months before the Master Course start too. Twelve families representing 258 people were interviewed. The results of this research showed the Mundurukú traditional institutions can adapt themselves to the urban situation. A new social order was born due to the interaction and contact with national society. This new social order keeps traditional Mundurukú and national society features. In this urban context, despite of everything, we can see that the Mundurukú traditional institutions mainly keep marking their powers spaces that are still governed by kinship, by clans and by Mundurukú local leaderships ('cacicado').Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Nem terno nem gravata: as mudanças na identidade pentecostal assembleiana(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008) DELGADO, Jaime Silva; MAUÉS, Raymundo Heraldo; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0915136632611666; MENDONÇA, Kátia Marly Leite; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5325063796266136This dissertation has as a purpose to do a study of the contradictions of a pentecostal identity in progress, searching on its origin an identity that was own its on, through an interpretative analyse of its literature and a new language which has changed in the last twenty years. During eight decades the Assembley of God had been holding out tight its identity, that took part of the people’s daily and of a brazilian religious culture that got used to see them as outsiders, separated. The incoming of the Neopentecostal churches brought about changes on the assembleyan’s ethos. Currently, it is possible to realize a mixture of practices and beliefs that here we will notice through the cathegories, identity and and syncretism. It is even more and more present a triumphalist language linked a Positive Confession.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Na friadagem do mangal: organizar e tirar caranguejos nos fins de semana em Bragança (Vila do Acarajó)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2007) REIS, Maria Regina Ribeiro; AQUINO, Maria José da Silva; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1799861202638255; FURTADO, Lourdes Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1828475659148260The work here presented discusses the crab extractors organization at Vila do Acarajó in weekends, the place is located in Bragança/PA, in Northeast of the State. The source is from the cold grubs. The crab extractors are organized in groups by a local merchant, that in partnership with the merchants from the town, facilitate the crab extractors’ journey in trucks, as a way to extract as many crustaceans as possible, indicating an intensive capture with negatives consequences from the biological point of view of the specie and social of the human groups that live around there and are dependents of the ecosystem. This research was guided by the hypothesis that the lack of material conditions to develop the fishing and agriculture, due to the scarceness of land, forcefully led the extractors to the mangroves, to allocate their work force. The investigation results show a rapid change in the context of capture and sale of the crabs, which are considered an easy and fast product to sell. Was verified that the mangrove rush is done by the Vila’s residents, even those who have terrains that indiscriminately extract crabs that didn’t reach the adult stage. These small crabs are sold without a rule about their size and the quantity by the traders. The whole is sold.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Sociabilidades no Mercado de Peixe do Ver-o-Peso durante o Círio de Nazaré(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-03-12) NASCIMENTO, Lícia Tatiana Azevedo do; RODRIGUES, Carmem Izabel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5924616509771424This paper aims to analyze some aspects of the practices carried out by fishmongers, rockers and glaciers from Ver-o-Peso through the sociability they perform. Assuming that the social practices are responsible for the signification or re-significations of the spaces, the Ver-o-Peso, the oldest commercial area of the city of Belém, is daily presented as a place for expressive activity of work, but eventually it is also a place of entertainment for those who work daily on it. From the festival, that takes place during the Círio de Nazaré in Belem, in order to render honors to the Saint, Our Lady of Nazareth, will be interpreted in the prism of an anthropological approach, the existed playful side in Ver-o-Peso. To perform the analysis, were carried out direct observation and interviews with those who work in the fish commercialization in Ver-o-Peso, more precisely in the Mercado de Ferro (Iron Market), as also known as Mercado de Peixe (Fish Market), which are responsible for carrying the Feast.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Folia de São Benedito: um estudo de mudança em uma manifestação religiosa na comunidade do Silêncio do Matá(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008-10) VIEIRA, Daniel Hudson Carvalho; FURTADO, Lourdes Gonçalves; http://lattes.cnpq.br/1828475659148260This study deals with structural changes associated with religious manifestations, in particular one known as the Folia de São Benedito, held in Silêncio do Matá, a community of Obidos, in Pará. It is shown here that Folia de São Benedito exhibits classic properties of popular Catholicism. However, based on actual observations, it is argued that the changes observed in this particular Folia is not only driven by exogenous factors, but also orquestrated by community members, yielding a connotative application of its original meaning.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Quando mudar é condição para permanecer: a escola Casa Familiar Rural e as estratégias de reprodução social do campesinato na Transamazônica (Pará-Amazônia)(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2010-06-28) MENESES, Alcione Sousa de; MAGALHÃES, Sônia Barbosa; http://lattes.cnpq.br/2136454393021407This paper analyses the relations between schooling (configured in the Rural Familiar House) and the strategies for reproduction of the social organizations, representative of the peasants in its interface with the families of the farmers in the Transamazonian region, pionnering front of the colonization of the West of the Pará State (Brazil), especially in the town of Medicilância. This school, thought through this social and collective agents in a national and regional setting of public-making of the scenes that weaken the agriculture of the countrymen basis, starting in the mid-90s, has been an instrument of social conflict. The tensions in the social space, interpreted as ‘crisis of the basis’ and ‘crisis of the production systems’, had simultaneously drawn a ‘formation crisis’ in which the purposes of the school were built through socio-economic and political challenges. This setting had established the young farmers as a social category invested in the collective expectation of becoming, under the mediation of the RFH, agricultural technicians and/or managers, in order to give continuity to the group (either the agents, in the land of the social/ union and community-religious or in the families, in the agricultural succession and in the social position). The repercussion of the RFH in the farmer’s condition of the youth are analysed from quantitative and qualitative data, taking as reference the interests and investments of the social agents, the families, as well as the socio-professional insertions of the land and/or in the city of this youth after the schooling. The results of the RFH, considering this school as organized collective strategy that attempts to transforming for conserving the field of conflicts while system of objective relations of the social group that constitutes it, reveals that it has made possible the permanence of the young farmers on the land under several arrangements in which the relations with the peasants, the city, the technical/ school knowledge, and the ethics of work and relation with the “surrouning” land/ nature overlap. At the level of the domestic groups and of the rural collectivity (in which the representative organizations of the studied group are included), the social position of the young ones is charaterized by forms of visible social distinction in the socio-productive practices endorsed in the school capital, as well in the position of mediator managers and technicians.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Entre a regra e as estratégias: uma abordagem antropológica do processo de escolha do cônjuge(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2011-03-30) ALENCAR, Breno Rodrigo de Oliveira; RODRIGUES, Carmem Izabel; http://lattes.cnpq.br/5924616509771424The work is a development of my monograph in which I try to analyze patterns of spouse choice in the interface between anthropological theory, ethnography and literature, with the field to analyze the interaction between individuals in the marriage process. The objective is to understand this phenomenon through the analysis of marriage records from 2376, where he studied the structure and profile of marriages that occurred in Belém, between 1995 and 2006. Seeking thus to evaluate the profiles of the spouses against the backdrop of social changes through which passed the Western societies in recent centuries, whose emergence of romantic literature, individualism as a value and different models of family arrangements, had a profound influence on the kind of choice affective-sexual individuals, and thus the ideal type of partner with whom they want / should marry. Methodologically the work is developed based on a review of anthropological literature that addresses the issue of marital school in social sciences, with emphasis on studies that support their historical and conceptual development; as well as a detailed analysis of the procedure of choice in the work of three British novelist Jane Austen ("Pride and Prejudice”, “Sense and Sensibility”, and “Emma”). It also highlights my research along the course of Groom of the Parish of Nossa Senhora de Nazaré, in Belém-PA, where I looked through the speech of its users, the experience of choice and sense of being chosen as a spouse. My proposal with this is trying to understand not only the selection profiles andspeeches about the spouse preference, but why they chose to view the conjugal union.Item Acesso aberto (Open Access) Violência e transgressão na periferia de Belém: sociabilidade e os arranjos criminosos no espaço de ocupação Riacho Doce(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2008) MARRA, Maria Lúcia Martins Pedrosa; BARP, Wilson José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6546508090587542This study propose itself to investigate the context of the transgression and violence in the area of Occupation Riacho Doce and its implications in the social context. Onit, we search to demonstrate a series of arrangements that result in the multiple sociabilitie that favour criminal actions between local transgressors and Public Security Agents. Besides these precise aspects, the same displays some theoretical discussions about essential concepts to the comprehension of the violence phenomenon as all. Amongst them, poverty and social exclusion, stigma and fear, global risk society, urban violence, human rights, crime and power relations. Sticking out further, the historical trajectory of the Public Security Institutions, emphasizing to Brazilian and Pará Military Police and theirs respective characteristics, in intention to demonstrate that the conjunctions of all presented elements has favored a lucrative local commerce of drugs and consequently increased criminality with somepliceman participation that used to do practical illicit, local adolescent and criminals.
